The facility is made of three buildings. The Main building, the West building, and the East building. The most interesting is the Main building which is a tradtional Japanese style and most favored by foreign traveleres. The other two buildings are also well known from a very famous Japanese writer who wrote many Japanese novels.

60 minutes by car from Aomori station. Free shuttle available from the Hachinohe station, Aomori station, Misawa station, Aomori airport, and Misawa airport. The shuttle bus operates daily, but reservations are required."
