This authentic Japanese style inn was established nearly 800 years ago and has been carried on for 18 generations in Yamashiro. Our large bath and rotenburo (outdoor hot spring bath) overflow with source spring water from Yamashiro's hot spring origin, and you will feel at home in the guest rooms overlooking the quiet Mountain garden. Enjoy the delicacies of our traditional cuisine and the charming comforts of this small Japanese inn. The famous artist of the Taisho era (1912-1926) Kitaooji Rosanjin once stayed here, and his works of art are on display in the inn.
