Yumura Onsen is a very old hot spring resort in Kofu City and Yanagiya is located in the middle of Yumura Onsen founded one hundred years ago. It is Japanese style two-story white building among the trees and has a large garden and hot spring baths. It is located 10 minutes by car from JR Kofu Station and convenient for visiting the beautiful gorge "Shosenkyo". The main building is newly constructed in 1993.

15 minutes on bus from JR Kofu Station bound for Yumura. Get off at Yumura Onsen Iriguchi and 3 minutes walk. 10 minutes by taxi from JR Kofu Station. 20 minutes drive from Kofu Showa Interchange on Chuo Expressway via Alps-dori.
