Fukiya features the Momoyama-style Japanese Garden which adopted the Unzen Jigoku (hell) itself, and the hot spring source just in front of the garden. The hotel offers family-like hospitality and the lavish kaiseki cuisine in season. In April 2006, the restaurant remodeled the image of Showa retro, the lobby, front desk and wood-structure annex Kujiro were renewed.
