★an inn of the Japan Hidden Hot Spring★ Tsurunoyu Onsen is one of the oldest hot spring resorts of Nyutou Onsenkyo when the second lord of Akita Yoshitaka Satake and Iwashiro Kameda visited Tsurunoyu Onsen for therapy respectively. Tsurunoyu Onsen features four baths, each with water with a different composition. The "Honjin," a thatched-roofed tenement house filled with security samurai, is still preserved now, making it a tasteful inn.
