Osawa Onsen is located along the Toyosawa river.Osawa Onsen Sansuikaku is a modern architecture building and connected with thatch roofing Kikusuikan annex by hydropathist for the purpose of self-catering from the past. Large open-air bath is known from ancient and they were well used by famous novelist Miyazawa Kenji and Kotaro Takamura. Childhood photos of Kenji Miyazawa are exhibited in the corner at Sansuikaku.

30 minutes on bus from JR Hanamaki Station bound for Shinnamari Onsen. Get off at Osawa onsen-mae and 1 minute walk. 20 minutes by taxi from JR Hanamaki Station. 30 minutes by taxi from Hanamaki Airport.
