Cottage-style resort hotel. Surrounded by a primeval conifer forest designated as a special nature reserve in Daisetsuzan National Park, it stands in the halfway of Mt. Asahidake, the highest peak in Hokkaido. The large scale of autumn tints is not seen in other area in Japan. Woods are piled in the lobby, and atmosphere is reminiscent of the Alps, such as a fireplace and grandfather clock made in Germany.
