info
Kotohira Kadan ryokan opened way back in 1627. Since then, the royal family, leaders of all fields and many writers and artists like Kitahara Hakushu and Mori Ogai have stayed at the Ryokan. The main building is quite modern but the annex is built in the traditional Sukiya- style which perfectly complements the Japanese garden. Dinner is served in a traditional Japanese style. From the main bath, please enjoy the magnificent view of Mt. Sanuki Fuji.
