While Japan has free WiFi hotspots in public places, only 10% of those available are actually free, while others require a Japanese email address to register. Important Information

• Pocket WiFi devices from Ninja WiFi must be ordered in advance - up to one day prior to your desired pick-up date. This can be up to four days in advance however, depending on the location you intend to collect your device, so be sure to check beforehand.

• Insurance is optional, but if purchased this can cover the loss, theft, or damage of any device, without any cost to you.

• If you accidentally take the device home, it can be easily returned via a dedicated service.

• Pocket WiFi routers work with any WiFi capable device and will provide coverage even on trains
